Out of these, which would you recommend (for a beginner)?

http://boardology.co.uk/Skate/Skate-Pro ... 1Wrist.ice
http://boardology.co.uk/Skate/Skate-Pro ... ad-Set.ice
or Anarchy ones?

Its worth investing big for knee pads, you rely on them so much.
On the forum someone post 187's are like having sofas on your knees and its true their lovely (if perhaps a little bulky, you get used to it) they cost about

Hannah buy some gaskets to go under your pads what ever they maybe most people start out with anarchy pads not the best but with gaskets you should be fine..they cost anywhere between

Thanks for the advice...I wish I could shell out for 187s or TSGs right now, but I think they may have to wait till next month. I'll definitely invest in some eventually, but it might have to be bit by bit (unless i win the lottery).

Try ebay for TSG Force knee pads... it'll be the ones (the threes are similar to 187s or Scabs) but they're pretty decent and I found mine new for about

Everglides didn't have any skates in my size, so i couldn't get the complete kit from there, but I got all my protective stuff with the discount, so I'm good to go now... :skate: :skate: :skate:

Does anyone have any recs on gasket sizing? I wear TSG All Terrains in a medium, and they're getting a bit slippy so I thought some extra padding might help in that department, but I'm not sure if the idea is to buy the same size as your pads or not.

Different makes tend to come up different sizes. The Sin City Skates website has a guide for measuring your leg for the TSG and the gladiators. I had the TSGs in a large, but lost them. I then bought the Anarchy ones from everglides in a large, because when I had anarchy pads they were a large, but they are too big!!!

Thanks, good to know. I tried on someone else's anarchy's in a M/L last night and they seemed ok to me so I might go for those since they're easy to get here.
